Our Treatment Philosophy:

  • At Centerpointe Psychiatry, we believe every person’s mental health journey is unique, which is why we integrate a biopsychosocial model of care, considering biological, psychological, and social factors when creating your customized plan. Here’s what you can expect from our approach:
  1. Evidence-Based & Individualized Care
We synthesize your medical history, lifestyle, and personal goals to develop a treatment plan rooted in the latest research. Whether you need Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for refractory depression or targeted therapy for anxiety, we tailor our recommendations to you.
  2. Trust & Collaboration
A strong therapeutic relationship forms the foundation of effective mental health treatment. We listen without judgment, support you with compassion, and make decisions together, so you feel empowered every step of the way.
  3. ‘Less is More’ Medication Approach
Medications can be invaluable, but we strive to find the lowest effective dose to minimize side effects. Where appropriate, we’ll integrate therapy, TMS, and even supplements to optimize your outcomes.
  4. Thoughtful Testing & Recommendations
    • Lab Tests & Psychological Assessments: Used only when warranted to gain deeper insight into your health
    • Genetic Testing: We discuss the pros and cons before deciding if it’s right for you.
  5. Teamwork With Other Professionals
Collaboration is key. If needed, we’ll coordinate care with primary care physicians (PCPs), therapists, or neurologists to ensure a seamless experience. If your situation requires a higher level of care, we’ll guide you to the appropriate resources.
